Sing with young and old from across Australia, New Zealand and further abroad to the highest standards and services and concerts in Sydney’s greatest venues. Sing the services of Evensong, Nine Lessons and Carols in July, and the Final Festival Service, under these great choral leaders:

  • Dr David Hill MBE Director of Yale university’s Schola Cantorum
  • John Rutter CBE Internationally-acclaimed composer, conductor and editor
  • Dr Barry Rose OBE internationally known as one of the UK’s leading choir trainers
  • Dr Noël Tredinnick Director of Music at All Souls Langham Place, Professor of Conducting at The Guildhall School of Music

Services and concerts will be sung by:

  • Festival Course Choir
  • National Youth Choir of Australia as ensemble-in-residence
  • Choirs of St Andrew’s and St Mary’s Cathedrals and Trinity College Melbourne
  • The Festival’s Children’s Choir

A multi-streamed approach throughout the week centred around the University of Sydney and St Andrew’s Cathedral School will culminate in two exciting events in the City’s premiere venue, Sydney Town Hall:

  • Prom Praise with the Gospel Orchestra of Sydney and Festival Choir, conducted by Professor Noël Tredinnick, with Paris’ Thomas Ospital on the famous Sydney Town Hall Grand Organ
  • Bach’s immortal St Matthew Passion – commonly regarded as the greatest piece of Sacred Music ever composed, with professional soloists and orchestra
